JTAT Webinar:
Ten Years On: Honoring the Memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami

The Japanese Teachers Association of Texas (JTAT) will host a webinar on remembering the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster in northeast Japan, Ten Years On, Honoring the Memory of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami (with simultaneous interpreting).

The event – which is designed to be accessible to all, but especially to high school and college students, will take place on Saturday, April 10 (Sunday, April 11, in Japan), online. The main presenter will be Mr. Seietsu Sato, who was Assistant Fire Chief of Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, at the time of the disaster. Simultaneous interpreetation into English will be offered.

Time: Saturday, April 10, 7:00-8:00 pm Central/5:00-6:00 pm Pacific/8:00-9:00 pm Eastern/6:00-7:00 pm Mountain time
Sunday, April 11, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Japan time.
