The National Japanese Exam (NJE) is an online, proficiency-oriented, standards-based, culture-related assessment tool for students. The presenters discussed how teachers can use it to celebrate their students’ listening and reading performance, reflect on their own teaching, advocate for their Japanese programs, and motivate their students’ language learning.
