“Examining Ourselves in Order to Be Culturally Responsive Educators and Create Inclusive Environments:
Part 1: Bias and Microaggressions”
This webinar, the first in a two-part series, began with a thorough review of the Core Cultural Identifiers and how they play out. We then discussed microaggressions, implicit bias, and rethinking our mindsets in order to have productive conversations. Participants had opportunities to discuss these topics in smaller groups and gain practical information to incorporate into their classes and in their lives.
