The Japanese Language Education Graduate Program Network is a network of educators at North American universities with graduate degrees in fields related to Japanese language education (including linguistics, education, literature, and area studies).
Goals: The JLE Graduate Program Network has the following aims:
  1. to promote North American universities that offer graduate degrees, at the master’s and/or doctorate level, in fields related to Japanese language education
  2. to facilitate networking among Japanese language educators who are involved in those programs
Activities:
  • Hold networking meetings at conferences
  • Share information
  • Promote programs and increase ease of finding information about graduate programs in Japanese-language related fields
