I’ve taught all levels of Japanese language and culture (including pop culture). My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a learner-centered environment where students actively participate in the learning process and exercise some control over the learning content. In particular, I am exploring how to incorporate social justice and gender issues into the language class curriculum.
