Mayumi and Masao Oka Professional Development Grant for ACTFL 2026 November 20-22, 2026, San Antonio

Thanks to the generous donation from Mr. and Mrs. Oka, five AATJ members will each be awarded $1,000 to support travel, registration, and lodging for the ACTFL 2026 Convention and AATJ Fall Conference. Register for the Convention here. Current AATJ members are eligible for the Convention Partner Organization Member rate.

The 2026 Grant Application Period has ended. Please check back for the 2027 Grant. We hope to see you in San Antonio in November!

Eligibility Requirements

• You must be an AATJ member.
• You must attend the ACTFL 2026 Convention for at least two days.
• You must not have received or expect to receive other funding from AATJ to attend the ACTFL 2026 Convention.
• If you are selected as a grant recipient, you must submit proof of registration for ACTFL Convention 2026 before the grant funds will be distributed to you.
• If you are selected as a grant recipient, you will be required to submit a report about your Convention experience, portions of which may be included in a future AATJ Newsletter, the AATJ Website, and/or other AATJ materials.
