The 2023 Annual Spring Conference is scheduled to be held in person on Thursday, March 16, 2023, in Boston, in conjunction with the 2023 Association for Asian Studies Annual Meeting.

(October 7, 2023) Register here In this session, we will discuss what ChatGPT is, how it works, and what it can do. We will also explore some of the major issues of education incorporating AI, such as hallucination, bias, and creativity. Finally, we will discuss significant challenges and limitations that educators must address in order to maintain the fundamental goal of education.

We will explore specific strategies that can be used in face-to-face and online learning settings as well as effective engineering and assessment strategies in the new AI-infused classroom.
